About Instinct Courses
A training course will typically last between one to two hours.
It will be structured such that material can be called from a
menu
Questions are asked throughout the course material, to assess
the student’s understanding, and may control the routing
- to explain things which have not been understood.
There is an assessment or test module, with questions designed
to assess the student’s overall understanding of the material.
Instinct courses are educational, interesting and entertaining;
students will leave the course having not felt it to be a chore.

Why Choose Technology Based Training?
- Technology Based Training (TBT), or Computer Based Training
(CBT) uses the computer to display information and instructions,
ask questions, and respond to answers given by the trainee.
- Computer graphics, photographs, video and audio are used to
improve both the interest and usefulness of the training material.
- Although suitable for single-user use, this resource can also
be downloaded onto a network, or intranet, for distribution
to other sites and locations.
- Usually mouse-operated, Instinct training is simple to use,
and requires only a minimum of keyboard entry.
- Instinct training packages can be personalised with company
logo and can also incorporate promotional video-footage, for
example, an introduction by your Chairman on the company’s
commitment to health and safety management

Student Assessment Process
The student can be asked questions and the results of answers given
may be saved and stored away for later analysis. A Student Record
Keeping system records and stores information relating to who
has attempted each course, on what date, how much of it they completed,
and their test score.
Student Record Management System is password-protected.
After entering a user-defined password, student databases may be
searched for a specific department/company, student name, ID number,
course or pass/fail indicator, or any combination of these. Plus,
records from, to or between specified dates may be accessed. Selected
records may be printed, or viewed on screen, with individual records
printed if desired. Additionally, they can be saved to disk in
a format suitable for printing later.
According to individual needs and requirements, the software can
be used to access records on the computer on which they were created,
or databases from different computers may be merged into one and
the interrogation performed on the whole student population.
If the packages are resourced on your company’s intranet,
then you can also check progress over all sites and all candidates
to enable you to have stats available for management reporting
processes.
Test results may be used as a basis for assessing the student's
ability to do a job, or for organising further training.
